Robin the Decidueye aimed a spirit arrow at the Silicobra and chirped at it to leave the fruits. Perhaps it was hungry, perhaps it wanted to escape prey, either way, it was not welcome here. Though small, peckish, and about half the size of the grass owl, it maintained its pace.

Not bad. Callan thought to himself. "Wait Robin." He said, as he emerged from the bushes, unarmed, taking out a pouch of oran berries and placing them on the floor. "I could always use a brave Pokemon that doesn't back down." He said, as he rolled the oran berries towards it. "I can't let you have the ones on I've planted here. But how about if you join me, you'll never go hungry ever again?" He places a Pokeball on the ground. "Tap it if you wanna join. If you just wanna leave, take the oran berries and head somewhere else."

Callan sprinkled the berry trees with slow deliberation using a small amount of water from his Psyduck Pail. Lady helped by peeing on every tree as well.

Used to be, every three or so months, Callan would visit his communal patch and give his trees the occasional sprinkle. He had found that rather than doing much of his own work, it was better to just plat the seeds and watch it grow. The wild Pokemon nearby would often do much of the work. He'd often receive free vegetables or fruits, just based on being in the same place iwth other garden lovers.

Nowadays, he did it for the memory and to remember who he was. He felt himself change, over time, as expectations were placed on him and he dedicated himself to his jobs. Every little bit of memory about his past helped. And if it meant occasionally watching his dog pee on a few plants, why not spare the time.

The Magmar approaches the field of berries in the open garden of Callan’s mansion. An Indeedee passes by, casually drizzling water to the plants with its Wailmer pail.

The Indeedee tells the Magmar to help itself to the Oran berries in another section of the garden, but not these ones, which are specialty berries grown for unique purposes. Once the wandering Magmar has had its fill, it would be free to leave.
